This .zip contains sample scripts which run the SMOKE program met4moves
in order to create the gridded METMOVES file for SMOKE-MOVES rate-per-profile
(RPP) processing.

The "metcombine" script is run first: it extracts the variables needed by
met4moves from the METCRO2D and METCRO3D MCIP files into a single MCIP file
per day.
The "met4moves" script is run after that and uses the output from metcombine.
These scripts also require other SMOKE input files available for download on
CHIEF, including spatial surrogates (in the spatial_surrogates directory),
and various ancillary files (in the ancillary_data directory) such as the
COSTCY, GRIDDESC, MCXREF, and MFMREF.
