Model Change Bulletin MCB#3 October 29, 1992 COMPLEX I (DATED 92290) This Model Change Bulletin is formal notification of a change to the COMPLEX I model. The updated code is dated 92290 and is further identified by MCB#3. This version replaces all previous versions of COMPLEX I for regulatory use. The code conforms to the ANSI standard for FORTRAN-77. The PC-executable file (COMPLEX1.EXE) has been compiled for IBM-PC compatible microcomputers using the Microsoft FORTRAN 5.0 Optimizing Compiler (TM). It is highly recommended, but not required, that the microcomputer on which this program is run be equipped with a math coprocessor. This revision improves the implementation of the VALLEY Screening Option in COMPLEX I by automatically presetting the wind profile exponent for F stability to zero, as is done in the VALLEY Model. All changes to the code are itemized below. _______________________________________________________________________________ Version date changed on line C1X00010 and reference to MCB#3 added to line C1X00012: C COMPLEX I (DATED 92290) C1X00010 C C1X00011 C *** SEE COMPLEXI MODEL CHANGE BULLETINS MCB#2 & MCB#3 *** C1X00012 _______________________________________________________________________________ Note added describing this change to COMPLEXI: C NOTE: IN OCT 1992, THE VALLEY SCREENING OPTION WAS MODIFIED C1X00282 C TO AUTOMATICALLY PRESET THE WIND PROFILE EXPONENT TO C1X00284 C ZERO AS IT IS IN THE VALLEY MODEL C1X00286 _______________________________________________________________________________ Version date changed in print format for model output program header: 5 FORMAT('1',21X,' COMPLEX I (DATED 92290)' / '1' ) C1X04640 _______________________________________________________________________________ Version date changed in print format for model output page headers: 1400 FORMAT ('0',T30,'COMPLEX I (DATED 92290) '//1X,20A4/1X,20A4/1X,20C1X17330 _______________________________________________________________________________ Add comment on line C1X03110 that indicates that the wind profile exponent for F stability (PL(6)) is set to 0 when the VALLEY Screening Option (OPT(27)) is set to 1: C STABILITY. In the program, all such line sequence numbers begin in column 73.
