 This dataset is named 'STORET.HELP.FLOW.LIBRARY(CONTENTS)'

A copy of the STORET Daily Flow System user documentation may be
obtained by issuing the %BATCH command and requesting the option
 FLOGUIDE.

Each of the members described below may be listed under,

TSO by keying in the following instruction:

        LIST 'STORET.HELP.FLOW.LIBRARY(member)' NONUM (cr)

Where: (cr) - indicates a carriage return should be entered
member - should be replaced with the name of one of the
                     following members:

 Member Function/Description
 -------- -------------------------------------------------------------
CONTENTS A reference list of members and their functions. A directory
           to this library.

FLOSTAT Example of FLOSTAT retrieval request.

GAGESEL SAS example showing how to process the machine readable file
named 'STORET.HELP.FLOW.GAGE.SUMMARY' to produce a printed
listing of a user-defined subset of the gaging stations
within the STORET Daily Flow System. Daily Flow System
retrieval control cards for the defined subset of gages are
also produced, for subsequent use in retrieving data for
           these sites.

INVENT Example of INVENT retrieval request.

PASSFILE Example of Outfile output option (?06) and information
helpful in processing the generated file with user-written
           programs.

PGM#MEAN Example of WQSPGM retrieval request which passes flow data
to the STORET PGM=MEAN analytical program.

MEANFILE Example of WQSPGM retrieval request which passes flow data
to the STORET PGM=MEAN analytical program which in turn
produces an output file based on specifications generated
from the keywords provided in your request.

PGM#MSP1 Example of WQSPGM retrieval request which creates a STORET
More=3 formatted file containing flow data for subsequent
processing by the STORET PGM=MSP analytical program (see
           member PGM#MSP2).

PGM#MSP2 Example of STORET PGM=MSP analysis request that processes
a STORET More=3 formatted file created by the WQSPGM output
           procedure (see member PGM#MSP1).

PGM#PLOT Example of WQSPGM retrieval request which passes flow data
to the STORET PGM=PLOT analytical program.

PRINT Example of PRINT retrieval request.

SAS Example of PASSFILE retrieval request that passes Daily Flow
System data to the Statistical Analysis System (SAS)
           software.

SASOLD Example of WQSPGM retrieval request that passes Daily Flow
System data to the Statistical Analysis System (SAS)
software. This approach preceded the availability of the
program contained within member SAS (above), which is now the
preferred method for passing Daily Flow System data into SAS.

SAS01 SAS example showing how to perform flow analysis involving
           six-day running averages of data.

SAS02 SAS example showing how to process the machine readable file
named 'STORET.HELP.FLOW.GAGE.SUMMARY' to produce a printed
listing of a user-defined subset of the gaging stations
within the STORET Daily Flow System. Daily Flow System
retrieval control cards for the defined subset of gages are
also produced, for subsequent use in retrieving data for
           these sites.

WQSCONV Example of WQSCONV retrieval request.

WQSSTORE Example of WQSSTORE retrieval request.

Issue the command 'HELP FLOW' under TSO, to list the function, syntax,
defaults and options of the STORET '%FLOW' command procedure. %FLOW
is used to structure a Daily Flow System retrieval by providing the
required Job Control Language (JCL) and prompting the user for
 retrieval specifications.
