3.7 BOEM

The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management (BOEM) estimates emissions of CAPs in the Gulf of America from offshore oil platforms in Federal waters, and these data have been previously incorporated into the NEI. More information on the 2021 Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) offshore data is available on the BOEMS OCS Emissions Inventory – 2021 site. Year 2023 data was not available for these sources.
